Here we go!

I am so excited to be starting a blog about my adventures of mommyhood! It's only been 3 months since I became a mommy to my little boy Landon, but I find that I'm already starting to forget some of the things that have happened in those first precious months. So I decided to finally do it. I'm finally going to write about all of my adventures! I'm so excited! I've been having a hard time with my blog background for some reason. I don't know why they won't work! Hopefully I'll get it all figured out soon, and I'll have this looking cute!

Today started off fantastic! My 3 month old let me sleep in till 7 am! I know that seems so early. I remember a time, not so long ago, that waking up at 7 am would have made me mad! But it's funny how things change, and I was greatful for the few extra hours of sleep. I usually put Landon down around 9:30 or 10 pm and he'll sleep until about 5am. Friday morning he decided to wake up at 4:30, something he doesn't usually do. I guess he just wanted to watch the Royal Wedding, which is what we did! Later today I got to pick out my first Mother's Day gift! I can't believe that I'm getting to celebrate Mother's Day as a mommy! How crazy is that?! I picked out this really neat touch screen camera! My hubby found it, and it's amazing! It can even get on WiFi. I wanted a camera so I could break myself of taking pics with my phone. I'm so afraid that when Landon gets older, he's going to wonder why all of his pics are an awful quality! So I'm hoping with this new camera, I'll get some better pictures of my sweet little family.

I'm forcing myself to wait until next weekend to open the gift. It's just about killing me, but I know it'll be worth it! I also got to enjoy a quiet dinner with the hubs. My in-laws agreed to watch Landon for us, and we actually got to eat alone. Its crazy how I took little things like that for granite.

What can I say? It's been a nice day. :) I better hurry up and get off because I hear Landon starting to get fussy! Till next time...
